British Library to archive Emails

British Library is working on a project to archive the present day email communication for future generations with the partnership of Microsoft. The archive might present a skewed look as only those emails will be archived that'll be forwarded to British Library. A British Library official said email in many respects has replaced snail mail letters and has become prevalent in present time as it has become the means for filing complaints, blunders, humours etc. He said that they are very excited for this project as archiving of emails has never been done before on such a large scale.

You can send your emails to be archived by mailing them to British Library here.
